Cookie Policy
Last updated: 13 October 2026.
1. Introduction
This Cookie Policy explains how Couple Photographers uses cookies and similar technologies to recognise you when you visit our website. It explains what these technologies are and why we use them, as well as your rights to control our use of them.
2. Who is the data controller
- Name
- Srdana Munitic Muslu
- Domain
- couplephotographers.com
- Location
- Madrid, Spain
3. What are cookies
Cookies are small data files placed on your computer or mobile device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work, or work more efficiently, and to provide reporting information.
4. Which cookies this website uses
Two, and only if you allow them.
Nothing is set on your device until you choose. The first time you arrive you see a short banner with two buttons, Reject and Allow analytics. Silence is not consent and neither is scrolling, so until you press one of them nothing analytical loads.
If you press Reject, no cookie is set and no analytics script is loaded. Your refusal is remembered in a single entry in your browser's local storage called tkm-consent-v2. That entry exists only to honour your refusal on later pages, it never leaves your browser and it is not read by anyone else.
If you press Allow analytics, Google Analytics 4 loads and sets two cookies. _ga tells one browser from another so that a returning reader is not counted as a new person, and _ga_4BJK6GZ4NY holds the state of the current visit for this site's own measurement property. Both are set by Google and both last two years. We use them to see which pages get read, how visits arrive, and whether the contact form is being used.
Advertising storage, advertising personalisation and user data for advertising stay switched off whichever button you press. This site runs no advertising tag, no remarketing tag and no tag manager container.
Separately, and whatever you choose, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics. That tool was chosen precisely because it works without cookies: it sets nothing on your device, writes nothing to browser storage and does not follow you to other websites. It records the page viewed, the referring site, and a country and device type derived from your IP address, which Cloudflare does not retain. Because it stores and reads nothing on your device, it needs no consent and it is not covered by the banner.
5. Changing your mind
The footer of every page carries a Cookie settings button. Pressing it clears your stored choice and brings the banner back, so you can decide again. Withdrawing consent stops any further collection immediately. It does not delete cookies already sitting in your browser; section 8 explains how to remove those yourself.
6. What happens regardless of your choice
Our hosting provider, Netlify, records standard technical request data such as IP address in its server logs in order to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. That is a server side record, not a cookie, and it is not used to profile visitors or to target advertising.
Page fonts are served from this domain. Your browser does not connect to Google Fonts, so no request and no IP address reaches Google when a page loads.
7. If this changes
If we ever introduce anything else that stores or reads data on your device, we will update this policy first and ask for your consent before it runs. Nothing will be set on the basis of silence.
8. Controlling cookies in general
Your browser lets you block or delete cookies for any website. Since this site sets none unless you allow analytics, those settings will make no difference to how it works for you.
9. Updates to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy for operational, legal or regulatory reasons. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
