# A street style shoot in Madrid, on a route built around his style

A content creator was coming to Madrid and wanted a photographer who speaks Turkish, knows the city and can direct him in front of the camera. He found us through ChatGPT, and we planned a walking route around the way he dresses.

## What he was looking for
He was not looking for someone to follow him around with a camera. He wanted three things in one person: a photographer who speaks his language, who knows Madrid well enough to choose the streets, and who can direct him so the photos look natural rather than posed. Tarık is a native Turkish speaker, and Madrid is the city we live and work in.
From the first message to the last frame, the whole shoot happened in Turkish. The same goes for you in other languages: Srđana works in Croatian, Serbian and Bosnian, and both of us in English.

## A route planned around his wardrobe
Before the day we planned the route ourselves, around his style and what he wanted for his feed: classic stone facades for the tailored looks, wide avenues for walking shots, quieter side streets for the softer frames. He brought three outfits, and we paced the walk so that each one reached the streets that suit it.
We keep the exact corners for the people we shoot with. The shape of the walk is below.

## From Gran Vía toward Salamanca
On Sunday 4 October 2026 we started on the Gran Vía and Sol side of the centre, among the big stone buildings, wrought iron and old shop fronts, in a long brown coat over an olive knit.
Then we walked toward Salamanca, and among its long avenues and shop windows he changed into the second look: a navy knit with sand trousers. A stop at a café terrace for a slice of tortilla and a coffee gave us the slower frames.

## Back through the side streets
On the way back we left the main avenues for the back streets: red brick, awnings, iron balconies and the third look, a light knit with dark trousers. We kept people passing by in the frame on purpose. Madrid is a city people walk in, and a street with nobody on it does not look like Madrid.

## Ending in Justicia
We finished in Justicia, at the carved wooden doors of one of the best known theatres in the city, just as a cyclist rode past. He left happy with the day.

## Questions before a street style shoot
### Do you work in Turkish?
Yes. Tarık shoots and directs in Turkish, Srđana in Croatian, Serbian and Bosnian, and both of us in English.
### Who plans the route?
We do. Tell us how you dress, where the photos will be used and how you want to come across, and we build the walk around that. You do not need to know Madrid.
### How many outfits can I bring?
It depends on the time. The 90 minute Personal Branding session works for more than one look, and the three hour Extended Branding session has room for up to four.
### When do I get the photos?
The delivery time is on each package below. It counts from the day you choose your photos from the proof gallery.
